VEGAS BABY!!!
Stranger danger is no big thing in Audreality. New people tend to make adventures truly pop. This most recent trip came about via chat with an internet friend, Dean. At the time, we’d never actually met. Nevertheless, I jumped on the chance to explore a place I hadn’t been to yet – Vegas, baby!
He came to town a few days prior, so we could see if we’d be able to tolerate eachother. I was already scheming with my gal-friend Becca on how to get her along for the ride. The three of us went out on the town (P-town), and had a great time. Becca used her special powers to get us in, bypassing the lines (of course, free of charge) at the Portland clubs. With her magic in mind, Dean was more than happy to have her join us on the trip.
The first day, it was just Dean and I…

There was some confusion that first night, after I wandered off with a mystery girl – but things pretty much resolved themselves by morning, aside from losing my purse. C’est la vie! We spent much of the next two days by the pool, once Miss Becca arrived…

All-in-all, it was a GREAT trip! What’s next?!
GOOOOO MUD MUCKERS!!!
This weekend wasn’t as horrendously awesome as last weekend, but then again, I don’t think I could survive that kind of extreme partying two weeks in a row. That said, it was still pretty incredible. My buddy Dean came to town Saturday, so we made the long trek to get Becca on board and an even longer trek to my friend Lesley’s dinner party WAY up in the West Hills. After that, it was out dancing for the three of us. It occurred to Dean that it might be wise to have Miss Becca along on our Vegas adventure, later this week. For some reason she’s a lucky charm when it comes to bypassing lines & cover charges… (Stay tuned for updates from Vegas next weekend!) Sunday was game one of the Spring kickball season. As Captain of the Mud Muckers, I am proud to announce that we not only beat the Grass Kickers, we KILLED them 13 to ZIP!

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!
Last you heard, we were livin’ it up at the lingerie show, Thursday night. You know what that means?! After that it was Friday! Lila-belle joined me early on, plus Becca-boo, and we hit up the Nines for a bit on our way to the Pink Party…

Before I could blink, it was Saturday morning and time to get on my way to the PDX Urban Iditarod, where my team, the Angry Chefs, proceeded to flour bomb the entire MASSIVE crowd (including innocent bystanders and newscasters). There was total chaos and it was GLORIOUS! Halfway through the race, my team stripped down to nothing but their aprons, and proceeded to chastise me for not being naked enough. Phooey on them. Unfortunately (or not?!), that’s when my camera’s battery died.

Ready to roll...

By the end of all that I was wearing thin. Somehow a nasty germ snuck up on me and made me sick. Damn those slimy germs! Curse them all! Did that hold me back? Heck no! Okay, maybe a little…but I STILL got out of bed at 6am this morning to treck downtown for the Shamrock 15k Run in the wind and rain. (Who does that?! Oh, about 20,000 crazy people, that’s who!) At least, now that I’m on my death bed, I’ve got plenty of time to edit/post pics.
