East Coast Trippin’

If nothing else was clear in 2016, it’s that life in this Universe is gaining intensity and things are picking up speed. In the last twelve months, I’ve crisscrossed the country numerous times. A phase best described as “living in fast-forward” (a stark contrast to being “on pause” during my 18-month bike accident recovery). Now we are embarking on a new year, new explorations and discoveries, starting with a 10-day East Coast trip, leaving January 19th for NYC.

Upon landing, I’ll go directly from the airport to the protest outside Trump Tower, hosted by Michael Moore, Mark Ruffalo and Alec Baldwin. From there I’ll walk to Penn Station, where I’ll jump on the 10pm train to Washington DC, arriving just in time to cover the 4,200 joint-giveaway on the west side of DuPont Circle on Inauguration Day. Maybe I’ll stick around for some of the inauguration events, but my primary DC objective is attending (and documenting) the Woman’s March on Washington, January 21st.

I’ll make a stop in Baltimore to visit family, then back to NYC, where Violet and George are putting on their next Muser Movement event. The first one was such a success, wouldn’t dare miss it!
